Since obtaining his real estate license 1996, Michael has been an active practitioner with successes in both sales and leasing. With approximately 20 years in consulting and brokerage of commercial (all asset classes), retail, industrial, office, multi-family residential, land development and investment properties, he has also carved a strong niche in the hospitality sector with several restaurant transactions encompassing business sales, property sales and leases, as well as tenant representation.
Prior to 1996, Michael practiced law full time for a couple of years. As a licensed attorney and licensed broker, Michael brings a unique skillset with exceptional analytical problem solving abilities to achieve maximum results for his clients. Given his high profile, market visibility, expansive network and expertise, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to sell and lease his clients’ properties above market comparables.

Michael has been a lifelong Chicagoan and grew up in Glencoe, Illinois. He earned his B.S. from the University of Iowa and received his law degree from John Marshall Law School. He has been a resident of Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood since 1992, where he now resides with his wife and daughter.
